History of Artwalk Alpine
From six galleries and a bookstore to a two-day festival in downtown Alpine.
Artwalk began in 1994 as Gallery Night. Six galleries and one bookstore in Alpine opened their doors the weekend before Thanksgiving, and neighbors walked from one to the next.
Over the years that walk grew into a two-day festival that fills downtown Alpine with artists, galleries, food and neighbors. In 2026 it is the 33rd annual Artwalk Alpine.
